Los Alamos Guard Tower

I did a show in Los Alamos, New Mexico last weekend. This abandoned guardhouse was the first thing visitors would see upon visiting the lab back in the 40's. Part of the restaurant across the street from the tower was the guard barracks. In between was a toll-booth looking station where visitors were screened. The lab has since moved several miles away. Los Alamos has such an interesting history, and I'd like to go back someday and explore the town a bit more.

Huge Turquoise Rings

Both of these rings are orders, one for Miss Karen, who wears her big jewelry so well. The other is for a customer of Karen's from her Santa Fe Pony Express Gallery. Karen's beautiful horse paintings can be found in her darling gallery, which is in the Jackelope enclave.

Nacozari Turquoise Pendant

I made this pendant to match Miss Jane's Nacozari Turquoise ring. I'm really happy with the way it turned out. It is large and in charge, almost 4 inches from top to bottom, and it is heading your way, Jane!
